First 360 miles in 6 hours, then took 4 hours to go 70 miles in Lat's neck of the woods. Dude that was HORRIBLE!!!!! Is it like that on the beltway every day????
Talked to P/R guy and he called eugene to tell him we were coming then called me back to confirm it was OK to go Monday. He said Eugene was PROBABLY going to be there as he's in Kentucky today, but if not others will be there.

I drove through DC back in 1975. Tried to go past the Capitol building mid-day.
I realized my error and skirted that area and headed off to New Jersey. I'm originally from Chicago and never experienced such traffic. It was a mess.
I like it in the wide-open west. I'd even move to a smaller town than 300K I'm in now.
