So i just called our buddy Eugene at QMNM. (Lat, if you want to post any of this on the main page feel free).

Nothing too exciting to speak of. I asked him when we get August prod. numbers...he said i can't say exactly b/c that would be insider info...i asked "within a week?" he said "yeah i can say that."

they've been down the last 10 days b/c of the belt system. they didn't have to be down that long, but decided to do a proper full repair and upgrades instead of quick fix.

there's about 2500 tons of coal sitting on the ground right now waiting to go. they are and will continue to be mining at least 800 tons a day right now.

he'd still like to see them out of BK in 90 days, but of course that's a little extended right now b/c of recent court hearings. he'll know much more after Sept 16.

the A/S have obviously been approved, but he stresses that he'd rather be able to pay debtors with money, not shares. it's a possibility that they will be able to work it that way. if he must pay debtors with shares, then what they do with those shares determines how many extra hit the market. i forgot to ask about possibility of R/S should a lot make it to the market...but that can wait until much later.

he's truly thinking of putting a webcam on the ground office at the mine so people will shut up about the mine not existing. he said he wants to point it at the conveyor belt so they can see for themselves. multiple times he mentioned "what is being said online" so he definitely reads some of these online forums (like maybe yahoo or ihub)

they are working on rehabbing the other mine and he still is looking at around the end of the year to have it operational.

there were other little things, but that's the meat of it. the conversation began of course very short and just professional (slow and somewhat careful word choice, if you know what i mean). but after we were talking for a while he spoke much more freely and quickly...off the top of his head if that makes sense. what i'm getting at is once things loosened up nothing sounded "rehearsed" or sketchy or "covering his ass". i was hoping to gain some confidence more in how he spoke than in exactly what he said. i gained confidence in both. if it's somehow all a scam then i'm going to get screwed b/c there's still nothing out there telling me to bail. these are hard times with it but i still see it as a good "long". my only fear is the possible R/S. everything else should work out in time.
