Thanks guys. Navy has been good to me...and not a terrible strain thus far, although my wife hates it.
I knew the futures would be up tomorrow...such a joke.
They ought to nail Bernanke for perjury...it would set a precedent. If they can go after Barry Bonds then they outght to go after him and Paulson and Cox and Thain and all the big wigs that lie through their teeth.
Hey Lat, yes, they call it the 'memory walk'. I think they should call it "Thanks for the Mammarys" as it's 99% women!
Breaking local news: just met up with some folks tonight. one worked for Wells Fargo for 13 years or so, and got laid off. Her dept took the loan papers from the brokers and processed them. She said she knew it was coming 5 years ago.
The other gal's hubby works for a title company here in COS. Last year they had 120 people. Today, there are 19! He's still there because he's the only one who does title searches in the county.
This isn't over by a long shot. There's a bunch more sub-primes to hit the fan. Stay out of debt as much as possible.

S&P +30
Looking to be a moonshot into the open tomorrow.
Should help our miners I hope.
And maybe even a pop in FRE ;)
Miners have a good chance tomorrow.
FRE - I think that opens at least 50% down. But who knows...pigs sometimes fly!
LOL Hopefully HERO gets me a pop from my low buy last week. Still think I can break even with the 2 lots now!!
