yep of course, my primary focus no less. i am a VERY big gold bull, and well by definition bearish financials;)
although i must admit there are many things i like to play in the very speculative manner based on my hunches. one such recent example on mar 11th going long MBB and hedge short IEF. the thinking went something like spring is here and is THE opportune time for homebuyers to buy, cant have mortgage rates near record highs. coupled with the news release on that date the fed would lend treasuries to the banks who (theoretically) would sell them into the market to raise capital, i figured hey why not.
