I think the silly bas#$%d wanted to know what kind of grain I had before he initiated any offers! Had to confess that I hadn't actually bought the grain yet but that I would keep him informed if and when I did. Ya think he might think I'm a flake??

I didnt say to contact your customer, I didnt quote you a price and I didnt say that I already owned them. I WILL own them however as I was given first shot by another dealer who knows I am a bust/seated specialist.
Was only trying to extend a possible business relationship by seeing if you had a customer with a want list. IF you did, I would get into the details.
If you havent had that kind of convesation regarding an upcoming deal, then I would say that you havent done many real coin deals. I'm not talking about a bag of slider Morgans here....
John, I stand corrected on the "picked up" issue and I apologize for misquoting you.
I never said that you told me to contact a customer.
You did however pop of a rather insulting comment after I told you (politely) that I couldn't answer your coin question without more info. That did piss me off a bit.
I am sure that a specialist such as yourself is aware of the wide range of product in the series and grades you mentioned. I tried to convey that I needed more info on the coins you were considering offering for sale. That is a common practice in the industry.
I've done plenty of coin deals John. Nice collector items all the way to slider Mercs. I earn a very nice living at it.
I know how to look up an ETF for Treasury Bonds. I'm even able to form a question in a manner that my knowledge request is clear!!
If someone wants to sling insults, I can even play that game. ;)
