Booked my april 100 calls bought at 7.4 for 10.3...nice..
Although I have to admit I chased them down from 12.9 and boy am I pissed...getting over it, but hate when greed costs me profit( or more loss than needed )
Nice job mdp, I'm learning about options right now and working on a practice account to get the feel. I might be needing your advise in the near future, it's good to see you are doing well with them.
I saw the market action on cnbc before getting to a computer and I figured we'd be up 5%+ on skf will the markets dropping. Financials are holding up pretty well so far.
As for gold I know what you mean Joe. I'm pretty heavy in it right now. If we fall I'm pretty much stuck too. Looks like we are getting a bounce off the 920 level. I think we will get a rally end of day and most definitely next week.
Think gold is gonna run,,,just not sure which day it starts..
As for options the thing that sucks is the bid/ask spread can be huge. The bid ask on the skf calls was almost 2.00 dollars...which takes time to get out of if you don't want to sell on the ask. Good to pick a strike price that has good volume also and open interest. Holding 10 contracts and only having 60 contracts open can be a challenge to sell.

Still kicking myself in the butt for being to aggresive on my ask at first, cost me about a grand of profit..having to keep placing change orders as the etf moved down.
