Miners are in some fun ranges right now and with the help of Gold, are ready for a VERY nice run!!!
Big day tomorrow for QMNM, thinking back it was a choice between QMNM & BIHC and this is the path I chose. So far BIHC has performed much better, but based on the speculation of a buyout that was supposed to be announced 2 weeks ago. Someone knows something as another big rise took place today but i'd still rather be where I am in a company that is HOPEFULLY producing coal as we speak.
Couple things I saw in QMNM trading today were:
1. MAJOR shorts covering, i'm talking lots of 1,000,000 shares that somehow got through at below the bid??? Not sure how those MM's work but seems they can shift shares from one account to another without hitting the market (ie bypassing a higher bidder)
2. There were a couple times today when as soon as the price hit a certain level, buys were triggered on a large number of lots. Either a lot of weak hands were shaken out, or the MM's were selling between accounts??????
Anyways, let's hope we hear something thats both unexpected and positive.

Miners might be in fun range but certainly not financials. Merril Lynch diluting assload of shares more red for them and probably the rest of financial section

Joe it is my understanding that trading takes place all the time that does NOT go through an exchange and therefore there is little or no price impact on the open market.

So I see them, but they never go through an exchange???

I'm definitely cheering for QMNM tomorrow - hope we crack .03 and hold.
I've got my SKF just rearing to go, and happily staging back into UYG for the idiot bounces that inevitably occur. :)

Jimmy...want to ask what current prod. is (tons/day), how many trucks are lined up taking it out, when they will be @ 1500/2000 tons/day...for starters.
Also, for fun, when will the stock be $1.00. :)
