Mine Visit

Ok everyone, I talked to Eugene on Thursday morning. He stated that there would be about three maintenance workers and a security person at the mine on Friday and the security guy would be there over the weekend. So I decided that the best day to visit would be Friday. I tripped up there on Friday afternoon and had no trouble finding it. It is right on hwy 292 about 100 yards south of Slater's Branch Rd. It looks just like the picture gallery on questmining net. I talked to Bobby the supervisor. He is a very personable guy. He was working on Fourth of July. I call that dedication to the cause. I took some pictures which I will post on youtube or something when I get a chance. I am still at the in-law's in east KY now and I don't have good internet access. Just an aircard with EDGE coverage. When I get back home to broadband I will post the pictures. I will put the link along with some on my oppinions from my DD and my conversation with Bobby in a new thread then. It will probably be sometime Monday afternoon.
