well there's no point in me selling. everything is very very red, and it's not as though i can "trade" my way back up. just disappointing...thought i was buying at lows...but THESE are lows. maybe it's good...i have no reason to watch the market right now since i'm in a hole, might as well work on other projects. i'm trying to learn that it's not about understanding the market, but being able to follow it and flow with it.
You can never call a bottom. Average in as best you and if you believe in your thesis, ride out the dips/noise.
Granted, it sucks you can't add more to positions you really believe in that are still heading down (averaging in) but I would let these come back into the green for you vs. booking a loss.
