USA right??

I'm here too. It's a main reason I have no interest in having kids (aside from I hate responsibility), I would be a nervous wreck just sending them to school in the morning.

I'm in Colorado.

As for DROOY...I pulled the plug on that yesterday! Booked some profits. Hindsight....

I was out all day. I substitute teach a couple days a week. Do some realty as necessary.

Sure looked like fireworks today 416 pts! Zowie. I have a buddy who trades very conservatively (15 yrs now) and he's 80% cash. Says the mkt is too scary.

As for the FED pumpndump...it greased the wheels and helps the economic train slide down the track for a short while. Unfortunately, the rusty rails go around the bend and over the hill where it's a 14% downhill grade to the bottom. It won't last....

Mid term week is a bummer Joe, I'm sure you remember. Nothing I can't handle it's just a pain because they all hit you at once.

C'mon guys I wouldn't be so pessimistic about our country in general. Sure our economy is f%ckd and our politicians are liars and corrupt, but there are many positives to living here. I've seen many much worse countries where you don't have the same freedoms and opportunities as America. Sure they are being slowly stripped away from us, but I can't complain, I have it very good here. You just have to know how to be creative and due things differently. People like us will be fine, the sheeple must wake up. Live within your means and invest wisely, that's what you guys are doing right?

How those kids in Colorado treating you Ron?? Do they give you a hard time?? Keeping them in line? Good idea with the treasuries, seems to be a safe bet.

The first time I subbed I had no clue, but the teacher next room over would back me up. I learned the method of discipline. I basically don't put up with any crap. "Sit yer butt in the chair." The key is to nail them first time out. Then they know you're serious. You let one time go by and the whole day is crazy. They're good kids, but I'm the 'sub' and they think 'its playtime!'

I've also worked at an 'at risk' facility for one day. 4 adults and 12 little 8 year olds who had no problem 'F-youing' screaming, and crawling under their desk. These were 'kids' who mom n pop either didn't discipline them early, or were drug heads etc. After that, 'normal' class is ez.
