Covered Call

So it would tie up the money until options expiration in April? I always thought you could sell the option before then? Thanks for the help!

If you just go out and buy a call like I did for auy I can sell it whenever i like...I paid like .7 and today it may be .15 or so.

If I sell a call against my stock..since i sold it i need to buy it back to close it out and then I can sell my stock.

Selling a option is different than buying it.
