Goldfinger

Any good reading/self-help material you'd suggest before I decide to try options?? I have the basic premise as to how they work but would like to have an understanding of how they react in certain situations.

I would recommend "Options made Easy" by Guy Cohen, "Trade Options Online" by George Fontanills and the "Option Trader Handbook" by George Jabbour. Naturally, any good TA books would also come in handy.

Believe it or not, and don't laugh, but for an absolute novice I'd also recommend "The Wall Street Money Machine". Out of everything I've ever read on Options trading, Wade Cook seems to explain the basics of how options work better than anyone else. His so called "trading stategies" aren't worth a s#*t, but as for explaining the raw basics in easy to understand terms, he's pretty good. Unfortunately, I cant remember which volume seemed to cover options the best though. HTH!
