Bear

GREAT!! Anything to reflect poorly on the sector ; )

Anybody else check out Yamana's results?? They are loaded!! I always thought Yamana would be THE stock the 2nd half of this year. I'm thinking it gets back to $20 before POG gets to $1000??

Good morning guys. I was at the computer yesterday for only about 20 minutes but I was lucky enough to pick up some SKF at $102. Dow is on its way back to the 12,000 area, so we are looking very nice here.

Goldfinger, what is being investigated? I did not hear any news about this. Can you post an article?

Does anyone follow Transmeridian exploration, TMY? Huge move yesterday, I missed my opportunity, my father picked up shared at .80, too bad I didn't listen to him. There is a deal on the table that brings the value to $3. Worth looking at.

I love me some Yamana! Overt he next couple years I see them being a cash cow. a growing cash cow at that.

Actually, does anyone have any good ideas on how one could best play some long-term call options, with the intent of exercising them? I've been thinking of buying some deep in the money January 09's.

Goldfinger,

I looked at some of the long term calls. Man!! They are getting some good premiums!! Others must be thinking the same thing.

Goldfinger,

Looks to me some of the best (for a buyer) premiums are on AUY GX. 22.5 for July delivery. 50cents a contract...right in the meat of the driving season with high oil. I think you could buy a few and end up with a triple in price by June...

What do you think?

Oh yeah, definitely good premiums.

No, I'm afraid no more AUY calls for me during the summer months. I've gotten burned the last two years playing Yamana calls during the summer. Got caught by the summer doldrums in '06, then tried to play the doldrums last year, and of course, we had the prolonged downturn in the sector, merger hangover, etc. I'd probably want to go out to at least oct.
