Does anyone know what happens when your covered calls expire? I had written some calls that expire tomorrow (today essentially). They ended up in the money (strike price was 50$) Ended up at 50.38$.
Will the shares just disappear from my account if the guy excercises the options?
If they're in the money then they will usually be called away. I've never written any myself, but my understanding is that they will be deducted from your account, unless you opt to buy them back.
I jest with you sometimes, esp. on those 2 things you have expressed the most passion on - SA & Axe.
Like you, I believe overall in where we are headed: economy in deep dodo, financial sector imploding, dollar down & gold up.
My concern lies with the short term. Mostly with what efforts will the PPT, Fed & Congress try to stave off the inevitable and what effects it will have in the near term.
