I'll post you my faves in a bit, but my favorite is Boise State.
On another note, i'm in 153rd place in the CNBC million dollar challenge. There's over 600,000 entries!! I missed out on answering any of those questions for the $12,000 a day bonus bucks or i'd be higher. Went short (SKF,SRS,QID,DXD) then reversed for yesterday to (UYG, DDM, AUY, DGP).

I may be stubborn, but I think oil is finding a bottom in this $55 area and is going to make a VERY strong push soon. I thought there would be one more bear rally towards 9000 DOW, but it looks like the next leg down (7200 area) is imminent????

I'll be more active on here for you, hope you're nailing them. Morning guys finally up & running
Not gonna post all my trades from the past two days, but needless to say, some MONSTER 10-20% books on each day. Huge moves in the miners and was able to take advantage of Tuesday's rally in my ETF longs and planting shorts which were able to be booked nicely yesterday (srs, skf, qid, dxd).
POG has done a great job of pulling away from the $730 area and the main market reversed right at the 9600 top of range ;)

Absolute worst case scenario for me. We had a pipe burst upstairs and I happened to be downstairs where a waterfall came down the ceiling. Was up till 3:00 wet-vacuuming and toweling water. Over at my buddies getting his humidifier.

Off and running
Futures starting out a bit positive, with the dollar down a tad. I personally think the dollar has stretched itself out even with foreign currencies having such a hard time. IMO, in the next week or two, we will have a parabolic rise in gold and the capitulation in GDX was a signal that the miners are about to run.

I just saw that Texas Tech held walk-on tryouts for kickers this week. Their 2 kickers combined have missed 6 XTRA points and half their FG's so far this year. They should just go for 2 on every score.

I love my team, Texas Tech giving 20 1/2 to Texas A & M, and not because they're my favorite team. A & M has a horrible secondary and Tech has the best passing offense in the country. BYU/TCU is offense vs defense, it's tough to take road teams on Thursday night cause of the national TV, but I think BYU is destined to go into the Utah game undefeated.
I don't like the other game at all but if I had to bet i'd take the points at home.

TORONTO, CANADA--(Marketwire - Oct. 9, 2008) - Seabridge Gold (SA) announced today that it has signed a letter of intent to sell its 100% owned Noche Buena project in Sonora, Mexico to Minera Penmont, S. de R.L. de C.V., a joint venture between Fresnillo plc. and Newmont USA Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Newmont Mining Corporation. Terms of the sale are US$25 million in cash at closing, a further US$5 million upon commencement of commercial production from Noche Buena and a 1.5% net smelter royalty payable on all production sold for US$800 per ounce of gold or greater. The transaction is subject to completion of definitive closing documentation and normal closing conditions, which are expected to be completed within the next two months.
Seabridge President and CEO Rudi Fronk said that the cash proceeds will enable the company to advance its core projects - KSM and Courageous Lake - towards feasibility without share dilution. "We will be looking to make other sales of non-core assets in the months ahead," he said.
SA, GORO & AUY are the plays going into 2009. Still love EGO and the others, but GORO is going into high grade production and Yamana will be ramping up over the next 2 years!!!!

Who'd have thunk i'd only have 4 lots left to book when we were under $90 and I was holding about 20 lots up to $202.88???? I'm gonna check how many were booked but I think it's over 75 and ALL for profit!!!!!!!

Miners
Looks like their is gonna be a nice influx of funds into miners. HUGE moves out of AUY, JAG, EGO, FCX, PAL, SLW........

Markets getting killed overnight. If we don't get the cut tomorrow, we WILL be below $9000 DOW IMO!!!!!!

Well that was fun
Still need a cut tomorrow to rally us some more, but I held out for some nice gains at the EOD.

The main flaw in my technique is when the market takes off in one direction instead of being rangebound and then a small down/up turn into a new range.
On top of that, the miners are not performing as they should be. You mean to tell me these companies can't make money @ just under $900 gold????
