The main flaw in my technique is when the market takes off in one direction instead of being rangebound and then a small down/up turn into a new range.
On top of that, the miners are not performing as they should be. You mean to tell me these companies can't make money @ just under $900 gold????

Do I hear 9000?????
Amazing how many times I told friends & family we were going to 9000 DOW in the past year from last August's wreckage until the "bailout" plan was passed on Friday. Every rally we would get I would hear them saying that was it and they were putting everything back in. Only one friend of mine pulled his entire 401K to cash around 13,500 and hasn't gotten back in (and his is over 150,000 so imagine the haircut he avoided).
POG snapped back very nicely overnight and should be the asset of choice while this worldwide slowdown gets ugly.

Fish's Fresno State Bulldogs played one of the worst games possible and was still able to comeback and tie a HORRIBLE Hawaii team and send it to overtime before losing by 3. Click on link for story
As for my Red Raiders of Texas Tech, they demolished Kansas State 58-28 to move to (5-0)
Graham Harrell broke the school's all-time passing record and will break the all-time college football mark later this year. He was (38-51) for 454 yards and 6 TD's.
My boy Michael Crabtree caught 9 passes for 107 yards and 2 TD's.
Nebraska up next for Texas Tech as they look to go (6-0)!!!
On the pro level, big day for me & Fish today with My Pats traveling to San Francisco to take on his 49ers. May the best team win bro!!!!!

I like PAL a lot at this price, but what do I know after today??????
As for the FNM & FRE, I went under the assumption that they rallied so high before the bill failed that I saw them getting back to those levels when it DID pass.
I would let the dust settle and don't make emotional decisions.

We held the $830 level support and the chart doesn't look all that bad to me. Considering the rally in the dollar and drop in oil, we're just a small run away from getting back to the $870 area.
I know i'm always Gold positive, but I really think we're on the verge of a continuation of the 15% move from where we were 3 weeks ago (at highest point, $925, it was an almost 28% move in 2 1/2 weeks). Anyone whose been trading Gold and it's related products knows that these pullbacks ALWAYS occur after such a substantial move.
These miners are at DIRT CHEAP levels IMO but DYODD
